| 【Abstract】 Background Floor time therapy, as a child-centered intervention method, especially in the rehabilitation training of autistic children, has attracted more and more attention from the society. In recent years, it has shown unique advantages and potentials in the education and treatment of autistic children. At present, there are limited studies on floor time therapy in the treatment of autistic children in China. Objective To explore the effect of floor time therapy in autism intervention, in order to improve data support and penetration rate of floor time therapy, and provide more powerful support for the recovery and development of children with autism. Methods Among the children who underwent rehabilitation training in the Children's Mental Health Department of Mianyang City Third People's Hospital from February 2022 to October 2022, 30 children with ASD meeting the "Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (Fifth Edition)"(DSM-5) were randomly selected, and 30 children (3 to 6 years old) were treated with floor time for 9 months respectively. The children's performance before treatment and after 3 months of treatment were compared. Autism Assessment Scale (CARS) and Functional Emotional Assessment Scale (FEAS) scores after 6 months of treatment and 9 months of treatment. Results The time effects for both the CARS scores and the total FEAS scores in children with ASD were statistically significant (F=43.184, 80.232, P<0.05 ). At the 3rd, 6th and 9th months of treatment, the CARS scores of children with ASD were lower than those before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant (t=5.232, 11.997, 16.600, P<0.01 ). The total scores of FEAS were higher than those before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant (t=-4.048, -10.566, -14.615, P<0.01 ). Conclusion FTT treatment can improve the functional emotional ability of children and reduce the symptoms of autism. |
