| Objective To investigate the present statues and relationships of sleep quality and fatigue among recruits. Methods Using Pittsburgh sleep quality index Questionnaire (PSQI)and fatigue scale - 14 (FS - 14 ) to knowing about the sleep quality and fa- tigue status of 200 recruits. Results The average total score of the PSQI was (5.21 ±2.71 ) , and the average total score of FS -14 was (4.92 ± 3.12). The physical fatigue score were positively correlated with subjective sleep quality (SSQ), sleep duration (Sdu), habitual sleep eficieney ( HSE ) , sleep disturbance ( Sdi ) , use of sleeping medication ( USM ) , daytime dysfunction ( DD ) and total score of the PSQI ( r = 0. 628 - 0. 226,P 〈 0.05 ) ; Mental fatigue score were positively related to SSQ, Sdi, DD and total score of the PSQI ; The total score of FS - 14 ( r = 0. 578 - 0. 269, P 〈 0.001 ). Conclusion The sleep quality and fatigue status of recruits were poorer compared with last investigations; The general sleep quality of recruits was positively correlated with fatigue status. |
