| The purpose of this paper was to introduce the comparison of two Poisson mean values for the general difference Z test and the SAS implementation. The following two special subjects were introduced： the first subject was the introduction to the Poisson distribution， and the second one was the essential and SAS implementation for the comparison of two Poisson mean values. Four details in the first subject were as follows： the brief history， the occasion applicable， the definition and the characteristics of the Poisson distribution. Three details in the second subject were as follows： the problems and the data structures， four elements of the comparison of two Poisson mean values and the SAS implementation for the comparison of two Poisson mean values. |
