English abstract:

The paper introduced the principles， methods and SAS implementation of the comparison of the rates by using the Z test， including Z test for the comparison of an unknown population rate with a known population rate and Z test for the comparison of two unknown population rates. In the aspect of SAS implementation， two measures were taken as below： the first was writing SAS program by using SAS language based on the calculation formula， the second was directly applying the procedure FREQ in SAS software.
