| The purpose of this article is to review the research progress in fear of dementia, in order to provide reference for clinical treatment and nursing.Fear of dementia is widespread among adults, high levels of dementia fear are likely to cause increased anxiety and depression, reduced health-promoting behaviours, avoidance of medical treatment, suicidal ideation and many other negative consequences. At present, domestic and international studies have mainly focused on the investigation of the current situation and influencing factors in fear of dementia. In this article, through a review of the concept, incidence, impact, influencing factors, Assessment tool and intervention in fear of dementia, in order to provide a reference basis and relevant insights for subsequent studies. |
