| Abstract:Background The management and treatment of severe mental disorders is a prominent global public health problem and an important social issue. Research and analysis on the management and treatment of registered patients can provide reference for the construction of a sound mental health system and the improvement of the quality of life of patients with severe mental disorders. Objective To analyze the management and treatment of patients with severe mental disorders in Chengdu from 2016 to 2020, in order to provide a basis for the government to make decisions and improve the mental health service system. Methods From January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2020, the relevant data of the National Severe Mental Disorder Management and Treatment Information System in 22 districts (cities) and counties in Chengdu were extracted and analyzed year by year. Results As of the end of 2020, a total of 71,899 patients with severe mental disorders were registered in Chengdu, with a reported prevalence rate of 4.4‰, a standardized management rate of 95.53%, and a regular medication rate of 88.99%. Reported prevalence rate (χ2=269.57, P＜0.05), management rate (χ2=384.03, P＜0.05), standardized management rate (χ2=309.74, P＜0.05), medication rate (χ2=414.25) from 2016 to 2020 , P<0.05), regular medication rate (χ2=316.17, P<0.05) and disease stability rate (χ2=288.34, P<0.05) had a linear trend of increasing with the increase of each year. Conclusion With the deepening of the management and treatment of severe mental disorders in Chengdu, the reporting, management and treatment rates of patients with severe mental disorders have increased, and the reported prevalence rate, management rate, standardized management rate, and disease stability rate have increased year by year. and increase. Continue to steadily promote mental health management and treatment, increase the construction and assistance of grass-roots mental health institutions, and speed up the construction of community mental health rehabilitation, which will help improve the construction of Chengdu"s intensive prevention and health system. |
